Summary: Young Claudia is attempting and occasionally spectacularly failing, to learn spells from a book left by her father's former mentor, Kpp'Ar. Also left in Kpp'Ar's wake when he suddenly and mysteriously left stands the Puzzle House: a tower full of magical traps, tricks, and contraptions.
