World Poetry Day is the 21st March and so, throughout March 2021, the Mt Roskill Intermediate School Library ran a Black Out Poetry competition. Black Out Poetry takes old book pages and upcycles them into intriguing poetry and illustration. We had over 70 Black Out Poems entered in our competition, so thank you to everyone who contributed.

The Librarian, Whaea Rachel, was impressed by the poetical attempts and some were beautifully illustrated. The poems will go on display in the Library by the end of term, and all the poems will be available in a pdf booklet next term.
We have decided to award two winners book prize packs. The Winners are:
